Shaquille O'Neal and his wife Shaunie Nelson are expecting a baby girl, PEOPLE has learned exclusively.
The couple have three children together, sons Shareef, 6, and Shaqir, 2, and daughter Amirah, 4. O'Neal has a daughter Taahirah, 9, and Nelson has a son Myles, 8, from previous relationships.
To celebrate the upcoming addition to their family, the couple threw an extravagant baby shower for 150 guests at their home in Miami Beach last Saturday, where they gave out Babies R Us Wendy Bellissimo diaper bags as party favors.
Also available for guests, including O'Neal's teammates and pal Star Jones, were manicures, pedicures, massages and knitting lessons. In addition, party-planner Mindy Weiss set up tables for people to play blackjack, craps and poker.
"What most people don't know about (O'Neal) is what a great dad he is," Weiss tells PEOPLE. "He loves having lots of children, and I think he'd like to have more. But they've decided this is their last one, since they now will have six children."
The 34-year-old basketball great and Shaunie, 31, wed in 2002, in a private ceremony before 248 guests at the Beverly Hills Hotel.
As for the new girl in his life, says Weiss, "Shaq can't wait to meet his new daughter."
