Although she would not reveal what she paid for the place, the Journal reports that comparable penthouses in the building go for more than $2 million. Anderson's apartment is expected to be ready for occupancy by December 2008.
The Panorama Towers, which consists of four towers (the first of which will be completed this summer), will soar some 400 feet over the Vegas strip, according to a sales Web site for the development.
It will also have some famous residents besides Anderson, the Journal reports. Spider-Man star Tobey Maguire paid $1.9 million last year for two adjacent apartments in tower three, while two years ago Leonardo DiCaprio reportedly slapped down about $1.5 million for 3,300-sq.-ft. of space in tower two.
The Web site for Panorama Towers also boasts of its apartments' 10-ft. high ceilings, walk-in closets, floor-to-ceiling windows, expansive balconies and 24-hour guarded security.
