"I went snowboarding for the first time in Colorado and I was really scared. I had a blast. We were supposed to do it for one day but ended up staying for three days," the So NoTorious star told us at a Travel & Leisure party at the W Hotel in Westwood, Calif., recently. Still, Spelling isn't willing to give up her sense of style on the slopes. "I'm really excited to get a pink snowboard. You still have to look cute. I only do sports when I can look cute."

Katie Couric, being mobbed by fans at a We Are Family Foundation gala at New York City's Hammerstein Ballroom. The Carmen Marc Valvo-clad newswoman turned up to support her musician-producer pal Nile Rodgers (of famed disco group Chic), who's involved with the nonprofit (which encourages ethnic tolerance). Tommy Hilfiger, Quincy Jones and Elton John were honored at the event. Diddy, partying the night away at a closing celebration for Miami Beach hot spot Crobar (they'll be remodeling and renovating until Halloween). When the club finally shut down at 5 a.m., Diddy reportedly continued the festivities over at his home in Star Island and even brought Crobar deejay Erick Morillo with him to spin.
