The venue – run by nightlife gurus Brent Bolthouse and Sam Nazarian – has become a scenesters' paradise: Jessica Simpson and Paris Hilton have stopped by recently.

• Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber, having a romantic dinner at New York City's Blue Water Grill. They dined on sushi and calamari and sipped glasses of Chardonnay.

• Chloe Sevigny, partying at a Hollywood Hills launch bash for the new Helio mobile device. The Big Love star is headed for the Cannes Film Festival, where her film Lying will premiere. After that, "I'm going to take a break for the summer," she said. Also making the scene at the party: Sophia Bush, Michelle Trachtenberg and Danny Masterson.

• David Schwimmer, attempting to go incognito by wearing a hat pulled down low at Another Room in New York City's TriBeCa neighborhood. The former Friend, who's on Broadway in The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial, chatted with a male pal as he sipped a glass of wine.

• Katie Couric, getting nostalgic about leaving behind the Today show during a Ronald McDonald House gala at New York City's Waldorf-Astoria. "It's going to be really tough and really surreal," she told us. "I know that last day is going to be incredibly emotional."

• Jack Black, dining at The Plaza Café in Southampton, N.Y. He feasted on prosciutto-wrapped shrimp with porcini risotto and white truffle oil.

• American Idol star Fantasia, performing at the American Red Cross 125th Gala in Washington, D.C. The singer told us her favorite Idol finalist this season is Elliott Yamin. "His soul and the way he gets out and sings," she said. "He's brought tears to my eyes." Fantasia will give acting a try when she plays herself in a Lifetime biopic airing in August. "It's really tough to go back and be the young Fantasia," she told us. "But going through all those things, it made me the woman that I am today."

• Whitney Houston, gushing about her Yorkshire terrier puppy at Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. "This is Jinx," the singer told us about daughter Bobbi Kristina's pooch. "I am actually his grandmother. I travel with him everywhere I go."
