Bridget Jones Author Pregnant
Bridget Jones's Diary author Helen Fielding, 48, is expecting her second child in July, reports Britain's The Independent.
The Los Angeles-based Fielding already has a 2-year-old son, Dashiell, with her longtime partner Kevin Curran, an executive producer and writer on The Simpsons.
In 1996, Fielding published the novel Bridget Jones' Diary, about a calorie-conscious young career woman looking for love in London. Renée Zellweger starred in the 2001 movie version.
Fielding's sequel, Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason, was made into a 2004 movie also starring Zellweger.
The author's most recent work is 2004's Olivia Joules and the Overactive Imagination.
