Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton, saying hi briefly with a hug at New York City hot spot Butter. Later in her banquette, Hilton lip-synched and rocked out to the Red Hot Chili Peppers' "Scar Tissue" and Kelly Clarkson's "Since U Been Gone," and flirted with an athletic-looking guy who stayed glued to her side for most of the night. Also making the scene: Constantine Maroulis, Taye Diggs, Nas and James Marsden.

Jake Gyllenhaal, munching on thin-crust pizza at an afternoon tasting hosted by celebrity chef Mario Batali at his soon-to-be opened Los Angeles restaurant.

Lance Armstrong, kissing a blonde female companion in a booth at New York City club Bungalow 8.

Oprah Winfrey, throwing a pre-Tony Awards party for the cast of her Broadway musical The Color Purple at the Broadway Theatre. The daytime diva gave a speech during which "you could hear a pin drop," says Marsha Norman, who wrote the show's book. "Oprah said that what happens in the audience, the unifying of poor, rich, whatever you come from, is the best win you could really want."

Rosie Perez, riding a float with Jimmy Smits at the Puerto Rican Day Parade in New York City (led by grand marshal Marc Anthony and his wife Jennifer Lopez). "Oh, my God, it was insane," Perez told us afterward. "Women were offering themselves up to Jimmy. That was a little awkward."

Demi Moore, Kevin Costner and Kiefer Sutherland partying at the El Dorado Hotel and Casino in Shreveport, La., where Moore and Costner have been filming the thriller Mr. Brooks. Earlier, Costner put on his own show, singing original songs with his unnamed country-rock band during a benefit for four local organizations. He told the crowd of about 2,500 people (which included Moore), "This is a nice memory we're making here tonight."

Lisa Rinna, flipping through magazines and ripping out pages featuring clothes she liked at Hollywood Hand Wash in L.A.'s Los Feliz neighborhood. When the man hand-drying her black BMW was finished, Rinna asked him for some rags and proceeded to wipe down the inside mirror, windshield and seats herself.
