On a recent weeknight, Lindsay Lohan kept a low profile under a black fedora while enjoying a quiet drink on the patio with a male companion – who was not new beau Harry Morton.
On her way out, Lohan walked right past Oscar winner Charlize Theron, who was looking casual in a messy updo while having dinner in the garden with Barbershop producer Robert Teitel and friends.
Also enjoying the warm weather outside and grabbing a bite were Joely Richardson and her mother, Vanessa Redgrave. Meanwhile, Mary-Kate Olsen stopped for drinks with a gaggle of pals and former Alias star Lena Olin caroused with her own raucous group of friends.
Upstairs on the terrace of the sixth-floor suite, Hollywood honchos Harvey Weinstein and Paramount's Brad Grey, as well as My Big Fat Greek Wedding star Nia Vardalos and others, celebrated Variety editor Peter Bart's new Miramax book, Boffo: How I Learned to Love the Blockbuster and Fear the Bomb, with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres.

Janet Jackson, cracking a smile when the deejay at hot spot Element played the Jackson 5's "I Want You Back." The singer, who also bobbed her head to Rhianna's "S.O.S.," was at the Hollywood club with an all-male six-person entourage. "She looks amazing," said one onlooker of the newly svelte Jackson.
