Orlando Gets Propositioned

Kate Bosworth would be proud. Boyfriend Orlando Bloom was recently dining with a male pal at Hollywood's trendy Chateau Marmont hotel when a pretty brunette model approached and, after chatting him up for a while, asked him on a date. "Would you care to accompany me to an art gallery party in just a few?," she said. The Pirates of the Caribbean star politely declined. "Sorry, the girlfriend wouldn't approve," he told her. The fan rephrased her request several times before finally getting the hint and walking away.

Janet: Good Times

Things are going well for Janet Jackson. The singer has dropped over 40 lbs. and she's ecstatic about her relationship with beau Jermaine Dupri. "The best part is sharing my life with him," she said while gazing lovingly at her music producer beau at a recent Washington, D.C., event for her upcoming album 20 Years Old. "Something I've always wanted is happiness. (It's) what I've always sought for my life and I've finally reached it."

Even though the couple has yet to tie the knot, Jackson is looking forward to starting a family. "I think if you really want to (have kids) you have to make it work," she said. "I would obviously have to take some time away. Everyone always tells me you just have to let it happen."

• Chris Rock and Adam Sandler, having a late-night snack at Jerry's Famous Deli in Los Angeles. "It was a battle of the comics," an onlooker tells us. "They were laughing and getting boisterous."
