Survivor's Hatch in Oklahoma Prison | Richard Hatch (Actor - Survivor)
Richard Hatch, who won the first season of Survivor, is facing his biggest challenge yet: prison.

Hatch, 45, has been sent to a federal prison in Oklahoma to serve a 51-month sentence for tax evasion, the Associated Press reports.

He was convicted in January of failing to pay taxes on the $1 million he won on the CBS reality show as well as other income, and was sentenced in May.

Last week, the former motivational speaker arrived at Oklahoma City's Federal Transfer Center from the Plymouth County Correctional Facility in Massachusetts, where he was previously held.

According to the AP, it wasn't clear why Hatch was moved or whether he would remain at the facility for the remainder of his sentence.

Hatch's lawyer, Michael Minns, told the AP that imprisonment was uncomfortable for his client: "It's bad for Richard, who is an outdoor person."
