Dustin Diamond, best known for playing Samuel "Screech" Powers on Saved by the Bell, says he fought with a woman who entered his Omaha hotel room earlier this week, the Associated Press reports.

Diamond, 29, who now works as a stand-up comedian and performed at Omaha's Funny Bone Comedy Club last Thursday through Sunday, said in an interview with a Tampa, Fla., radio station that a woman broke into his hotel room early Monday morning and grabbed some video games.

He said he held her against the hotel room door until police arrived. But the 28-year-old woman, whose name wasn't immediately available, denied she'd attacked Diamond and told police the comic had assaulted her.

Omaha Police Sgt. Teresa Negron called the incident "a case of 'he said, she said,'" and said no charges have been filed, the AP reports.

Diamond is currently on a U.S. tour with an adults-only comedy show.

In June, he announced he was selling T-shirts to raise money to save his Milwaukee home from foreclosure.
