Nicole Richie and a female pal, buying groceries at a Ralphs store in Malibu. The pair then took a stroll to the beach, where they made a dash for the surf. "They were really enjoying themselves," says an onlooker. "They ran through the water, having fun."

Drew Barrymore, dining with two friends at West Hollywood eatery Il Sole on Thursday. On the table: risotto with porcini mushrooms, onions and carrots. "They had an excellent evening," says an observer. "They chuckled all night."

Adrianne Curry and Christopher Knight, renewing their vows at Pure Nightclub at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. An Elvis impersonator officiated at the faux ceremony, which took place only 81 days after the couple tied the knot in her hometown, Joliet, Ill. Among their Elvis-themed vows: "I promise to love you tender, baby, and never leave you with a suspicious mind." Later, they celebrated Curry's 24th birthday with a bash at the club.

Natalie Portman, attending a private dinner hosted by violinist Joshua Bell at New York City's SushiSamba Park. The actress was accompanied by her parents and feasted on a special vegetarian menu prepared especially for her, which included portabello mushroom-and-tofu "seviche" along with shaved asparagus and mango salad.

Elizabeth Hurley, awarding prizes for pig handler of the year at the Hatfield House Country Show in Hertfordshire, England. When she wasn't mingling with the animals, the actress and boyfriend Arun Nayar giggled and held hands as they sat in their pen-side seats. Dressed in a lacy white summer dress, Hurley might have looked out of place in the jeans-clad crowd, but she was in her element: After all, she breeds pigs on her farm in the British countryside.

Paris Hilton, Scott Storch and Brandon Davis, stopping at an In-N-Out Burger in Hollywood.

George Clooney, taking a break from filming Ocean's Thirteen to catch up with pals including Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber at Gerber's new hot spot, the Stone Rose Lounge at L.A.'s Hotel Sofitel.
