MONDAY, SEP 11: Monday marks the five-year anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks. In New York, people will gather at the World Trade Center site where, at exactly 8:46 a.m., there will be a moment of silence to mark the time the first plane struck the first tower, followed by a ceremony with music and a reading of the victims' names by family and friends. In Washington, D.C. on Sunday night, people can participate in the Freedom Walk, an organized march from the Washington Monument to the Pentagon, followed by a concert
TUESDAY, SEP. 12: Justin Timberlake releases his album, FutureSex/LoveSounds, on the heels of his Video Music Award performance of last month. Musically, the album brings the funk thanks to a host of superstar producers, including Timbaland, Rick Rubin and the Black Eyed Peas's will.i.am.
What ever happened to Joey Lawrence, you wonder? Well, he's sashaying his way back to television on the premiere of ABC's Dancing With the Stars 2. Lawrence will be joined by quite the coterie of tangoing rivals, including MSNBC personality Tucker Carlson, actress Vivica A. Fox, fellow former TV heartthrob Mario Lopez and dysfunction-in-tap shoes himself, Jerry Springer. (ABC at 8 p.m. ET)
THURSDAY, SEP. 14: Catch the debut of the controversial 13th season of the granddaddy of all reality shows with Survivor: Cook Islands, where teams are divided by race.
