Nicole Richie

Nicole Richie, partying with Lindsay Lohan, Mischa Barton and Paris Hilton at the launch for the limited edition T-Mobile Sidekick 3 in Beverly Hills. Hilton and Barton sang along to an acoustic set by Debbie Harry, who performed classics including "The Tide Is High" and "Call Me." At one point, guests at Richie and Barton's table decided to light a centerpiece on fire and the ladies were showered in rose petals. Also making the scene: new Lohan BFF Rumer Willis. The entire crew then moved the bash over to hot club Area, where Lohan flirted with James Franco ("They were very affectionate," says a source. "It almost looked like they were about to kiss") and Richie wrapped her legs around a male friend, who picked her up and carried her as they danced.

More Celeb Spotting

Avril Lavigne, laughing with two gal pals behind a curtain in the VIP section of Teddy's at the Hollywood Roosevelt hotel. The group also hit L.A.'s Hyde Lounge, where they drank champagne. Dancing with the Stars' Cheryl Burke dunked chocolate-chip cookies into Kahlua at another table.

American Idol stars Constantine Maroulis and Jennifer Hudson, sharing the stage with a host of Broadway stars (including original Annie Andrea McCardle) in a one-night-only performance of The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas benefitting the Actors Fund of America in New York City. Afterward, the cast dined on pizza and pasta at an afterparty at John's Pizzeria in midtown.

Grey's Anatomy's Kate Walsh, celebrating her 39th birthday by watching Justin Timberlake perform on Jimmy Kimmel Live. After her appearance on the talk show, she hung out with her mom, sister Angela and a group of pals as she checked out the singer's outdoor set.

Emmy Rossum, speaking to a theater class at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. The actress was there to represent the advocacy group YouthAIDS, for which she's an ambassador. "There's a stigma around talking about AIDS, the fear that if you're talking about it, maybe that means you have it," Rossum said. "The more we open it up and talk about it (we) make it not scary but something that is cool to get tested." (For more information go to YouthAIDS.com.)

Christina Applegate, saluting playwright Neil Simon at a ceremony honoring him with the annual Mark Twain Prize for American Humor at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. The actress told us about her most embarrassing stage moment: "Falling on my a– in Sweet Charity – all my dancers were around me laughing at me." Also on hand: Matthew Broderick, Robert Redford and Patricia Heaton.

Jamie Foxx, dining with a group of guys at the center table at Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills. The Oscar winner was quickly swarmed by female fans.

Sharon Stone, making the scene at a New York City gala bestowing President Bill Clinton with the Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Ripple of Hope Award for his humanitarian efforts. Also there: Christian Slater, Lorraine Bracco and Robin Wright Penn.
