The baby is due in the spring, according to Elwes' rep, Karen Samfilippo.
Elwes has appeared in more than 50 films and television shows including, The Princess Bride, Robin Hood: Men in Tights and Liar, Liar. He will next be seen in Georgia Rule.
Elwes, 43, and his wife met in 1991 at a Malibu chili cook-off.
