Jessica Simpson and stylist pal Jessica Paster, feasting on spaghetti and lobster at West Hollywood eatery Il Sole. The pair then jetted off to the Chateau Marmont's lounge, where they "laughed lots" and sipped on white wine. Nearby, a solo Heath Ledger and a pal lounged on a sofa while Orlando Bloom chilled. Simpson then continued her girls' night out at trendy club Area, where she "had fun to the beat of (Blondie's) 'Call Me,' " says a clubgoer.

Jamie Foxx, pouring vodka into the mouths of several ladies who visited his table at Hollywood hot spot Les Deux. Also making the scene: Matthew Perry and Michael Vartan, who hung out with a large group of guys at a table near the bar.

Jesse Bradford, keeping the party going after the New York City premiere of his film Flags of Our Fathers. The actor invited several hundred people to The Plumm club, which he co-owns with nightlife guru Noel Ashman. Only problem, Bradford forgot that the club isn't open on Monday nights. Not wanting to disappoint the waiting crowd, Ashman opened the doors with his keys, and he and Bradford played bartender until 4 a.m.

Ashanti, celebrating her 26th birthday at a surprise party thrown by her mom Tina at New York City club Lotus. After arriving in her new white Mercedes, a shocked Ashanti arrived to find guests including Tyrese and Project Runway finalist Michael Knight, a VIP room filled with white pearlized balloons, and a chocolate and vanilla cake.

Russell Crowe, having dinner with friends at the Cowgirl Hall of Fame in Santa Fe, N.M. The actor is in town shooting the western remake 3:10 to Yuma with Christian Bale, Peter Fonda and Gretchen Mol.

Sean "Diddy" Combs, making a beeline for the deejay both at New York City's Marquee with his new album in hand. After DJ Angola told him that his new single "Come to Me" wouldn't mix with his house music set, Diddy simply sent a member of his entourage out to their waiting SUV to grab the house remix of the track – which Angola played. What Diddy wants, Diddy gets. After downing some Malibu Kamikaze shots (and saying hello to Alanis Morisette and her on-again man Ryan Reynolds), Diddy threw $300 in singles into the crowd of excited revelers.

Billy Ray Cyrus, performing Def Leppard's "Pour Some Sugar on Me" at mock '80s hair band Metal Skool's weekly gig at West Hollywood's Key Club. Midway through the song, the country singer invited a reluctant Ryan Cabrera to jam with him. "Do you need to check with Jessica Simpson's dad first?" teased a member of the band. And reality star Danny Bonaduce also jumped onstage and "made a complete a– of himself. He jumped up and ripped his shirt over his head and was running around and screaming like a jacka–."

Jake Gyllenhaal and Lance Armstrong, bringing their own bottles of wine to Austin restaurant Uchi. They dined on sushi and a Wagyu beef entrée with ponzu sauce served on a Japanese river rock. Armstrong is a regular at the eatery and before leaving, the pals stopped by to say hello to head chef Tyson Cole. A couple of days later, the duo took their buddy act to New York City, where they spent time at the Hennessy Artistry event at Capitale – and Gyllenhaal caught up with ex Kirsten Dunst.
