The actress – who rang in New Year's Eve at the Delano hotel – arrived with Girls Gone Wild creator Joe Francis and later hopped into the deejay booth to spin some tracks. Also partying there: her ex Wilmer Valderrama, Taye Diggs, Hilary and Haylie Duff, Ryan Seacrest, Adrian Grenier and Queen Latifah.

• Britney Spears, fueling up on mini Kobe-beef burgers, lobster curry salad and chicken fried rice with pals at Las Vegas eatery Social House before heading to Pure Nightclub for her New Year's Eve party.

• Nicole Richie, sharing a passionate kiss with Joel Madden at a New Year's Eve fete at Ghostbar in Las Vegas. While Madden deejayed a set of hip-hop, rock and New Wave tunes, Richie sat on top of the counter behind his booth. The couple later stayed overnight in the penthouse at the Palms' new Fantasy Tower.

• Leonardo DiCaprio, holding court with girlfriend Bar Refaeli at Las Vegas club Light. The actor went incognito in his Pittsburgh Pirates hat, which was pulled low over his eyes. When he wasn't dancing closely with his gal pal, the Golden Globe nominee played paparazzi and took photo after photo of friends including actor Lukas Haas.

• Jared Leto, celebrating his 35th birthday at Pure Nightclub in Las Vegas. The actor-singer was surrounded by a small group of friends and a plethora of women. During his low-key bash, Leto – decked out in all black – stayed put on his VIP bed. And when the Vegas Pussycat Dolls brought out a chocolate cake to sing "Happy Birthday" to him, he didn't wait for the cake to be cut – he shoved his hand right into it and ate with his fingers. The following night at the venue, Nick Lachey had a 98 Degrees reunion with brother Drew and former bandmate Justin Jeffre. Upon his arrival at Pure, Lachey grabbed the microphone, saying, "It's New Year's Eve Eve and we're going to party like is New Year's Eve!"

• Enrique Iglesias, chilling out at West Hollywood hot spot Area.

• Kirsten Dunst, dancing and smoking with her girlfriends at Teddy's at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. Also making the scene: Michael Vartan, who sat with a group of pals.

• Penelope Cruz, ringing in '07 at a party thrown by business mogul Ron Perelman on his yacht in St. Bart's. Other celeb guests on board: Denzel Washington, Eddie Murphy and new girlfriend Tracey Edmonds, Jon Bon Jovi and wife Dorothea, Zach Braff and Anne Hathaway.

• Vince Vaughn, celebrating New Year's Eve by performing with his Wild West Comedy Show at the Mandalay Bay Theatre in Las Vegas. One of the evening's highlights: Vaughn and producer pal Peter Billingsley (of A Christmas Story fame) re-enacting their first acting job together on an ABC afterschool special about steroid use. Then, the audience watched the actual clip of a teenage Vaughn looking like a member of Menudo with curly hair and tight jeans.

• Pamela Anderson, hosting a New Year's Eve bash at Tao in Las Vegas. The actress – who had just returned from a skiing trip in Whistler, British Columbia – was escorted by actor Chuck Zito (whom she playfully gave a smooch on the cheek when the clock struck midnight). Usher also took the stage to perform his hit "Yeah!" and later threw one-dollar bills to the crowd. At 3:30 a.m., Jamie Foxx arrived and fed passion-fruit shots to female partygoers.

• Kid Rock, deejaying at his New Year's Eve soiree at Sin City club Jet. The rocker got behind the turntables and did a mashup set with ZZ Top guitarist Billy Gibbons. Even though it was his own party, Rock left Jet bright and early, at 1:30 a.m.
