Extreme Makeover Surgeon Garth Fisher to Wed

Garth Fisher, one of the original plastic surgeons on ABC's Extreme Makeover, is engaged to Jessica Canseco, a Beverly Hills-based aesthetician and former Playboy model, his rep said Friday.

Fisher, 48, proposed at a holiday party hosted by another TV plastic surgeon, Dr. 90210's Paul Nassif – who introduced the couple at his annual bash a year earlier.

"I thought it would be romantic to propose to Jessica on the one-year anniversary of our introduction," Fisher, who presented the bride-to-be with a 6-carat canary yellow diamond, said in a statement.

The couple have not set a date, but plan to marry by the summer.

Fisher was previously married to Rock Star: Supernova host Brooke Burke. They separated in August 2005 after seven years together. They have two children, Neriah, 6, and Sierra Sky, 4.

Burke herself is now engaged to, and expecting her first child with, actor David Charvet.
