Rosie Discusses Kids' Reaction to Trump Slam | Rosie O'Donnell
Rosie O'Donnell returned to The View Monday after a vacation – and several new insults from Donald Trump.

Rather than blast Trump anew, O'Donnell and the others on the show, including Barbara Walters, focused on one particular aspect of his name-calling: referring to O'Donnell as a "fat pig."

"It's the last bastion of a coward," said cohost Joy Behar, who asked O'Donnell, "Did it bother you?"

"No. It bothered Vivi," replied O'Donnell, referring to her and wife Kelli Carpenter's 4-year-old daughter Vivienne.

And O'Donnell said that 7-year-old son Blake told her about Trump: "He used the 'F' word." Turning to the audience, O'Donnell said that at her house, "The 'F' word is 'fat.' It's not the real 'F' word."

Blake also chimed in with what a friend had told him. "Mommy," he said, according to O'Donnell, "Kyle heard on the radio that there's a man with a dump truck. He's gonna take all your money."

"Dump truck?" asked Behar.

"Yeah," said O'Donnell. "Donald Trump. He thought (he heard) dump truck. He's 7 years old."

Last week, Walters denied Trump's claim that she was unhappy about bringing O'Donnell to The View. "Nothing could be further from the truth," Walters said on the Jan. 3 show. "I have never regretted, nor do I now, the hiring of Rosie O'Donnell."
