Victoria Beckham's New Hobby: Blogging

Victoria Beckham, who always likes to stay current, has taken up one of the more popular 21st-century pursuits: She's become a blogger.

For the past few months, the former Posh Spice has been penning small missives to fans on her Web site, www.dvbstyle.com. In her latest post, titled "Greetings from L.A.," she gushes about moving to Los Angeles later this year, where her soccer star husband David will play for the L.A. Galaxy.

"I've been so touched by the support from all the people we've met," she writes. "People in the street have been calling out things like 'Welcome home, we're so excited you're here.' That has been fantastic, and one of the best things about this trip."

Naturally, Beckham, 32 – who designs jeans, handbags and eyewear and makes regular trips to Paris – also weighs in on the L.A. style.

"As for the clothes – wow – there are some gorgeous dresses being worn by Hollywood's finest," she writes. On the night of the Golden Globes, she adds, "I wore a Cavalli a-line shift dress. It had a detailed neckline and little pockets in the most gorgeous plum colour with beautiful shoes covered in shimmering crystals by Le Silla. It was FABULOUS!"

Beckham adds that she's also been house-hunting in L.A. and looking at schools.

The DVB Style site launched in October ("DVB" stands for David and Victoria Beckham) and is intended to spotlight the Beckhams' various fashion projects.

"I will make sure you are the first to know how my collections are developing, when exclusive pieces are available and all activity with my other business partners," Victoria promised at the time of the launch.
