• Eva Longoria, leaving L.A. boutique Intuition after a major shopping spree at the celeb haunt. The actress – who came in with three friends – spent $2,500 on items including the store's new Market bag with her initials on it, a Tart Camielle dress, a Fleur De Lis terrycloth sweatsuit and Fortune jeans, which she thought were "cute" because they were packaged in a Chinese-food takeout box.

• Pals Katie Holmes and a newly blonde Victoria Beckham, dining together at Beverly Hills eatery Spago. Holmes showed Beckham photos of 10-month-old daughter Suri on her digital camera as they ate tuna sashimi and beet layer cake with warm goat cheese and arugula.

• Shanna Moakler, telling us that she's single and "working on being good friends" with ex Travis Barker at a Playboy Mansion party for the third season of the E! series The Girls Next Door and the new E! reality show produced by Ryan Seacrest, Paradise City. It looked like an American Idol frat party as Seacrest, Randy Jackson, Simon Cowell and Idol star Bo Bice feasted on sushi and mini-quesadillas and danced to music by deejay Sky Nellor, who mixed everything from Jay-Z to Bon Jovi.

• On the same night, Travis Barker, giving high-fives to pals as he walked around West Hollywood lounge Winston's. After a quick tour of the hot spot, he strolled out the back entrance at 12:45 a.m.

• Brad Pitt, entering a test screening of his film The Assassination of Jesse James at the Pacific Theaters at L.A.'s The Grove mall. "I had just seen him onscreen, and then, I looked up, and there he was!" says a moviegoer who saw him walk in as she exited a previous screening. Also at The Grove: Chris Klein and Ginnifer Goodwin, who were affectionately wrapped around each other on the escalator.

• Jessica Simpson, chasing after her maltipoo mix Daisy and throwing her a ball at pal Ken Paves's West Hollywood salon. The singer waited for Paves to finish and then the trio left together.
