Actors Rob Morrow, Chad Lowe and Fisher Stevens nearly created a high-altitude spinoff to Lost on Saturday.

The three – along with Lowe's girlfriend, producer Kim Painter – were skiing in the Celebrity Downhill to raise money for Colorado's Aspen Youth Experience when they found themselves adrift in an area that had been closed to skiing, the Aspen Times Weekly reports. Luckily, they were rescued by the Aspen Mountain Ski Patrol.

"We're all good skiers," said Morrow, who stars in CBS's Numb3rs and rose to fame on the 1990-1995 series Northern Exposure. But he admitted they weren't familiar with that particular mountain. "We were going every which way."

The trio ended up with other out-of-bounds skiers, who had been able to call for help on a cell phone.

Two Aspen Mountain Ski Patrol members, identified only as Max and Dale, brought the group down the mountain, which required a three-hour trek through heavy snow, streams and thick forest.

"You're the Northern Exposure guy," one police official at the bottom of the mountain said to Morrow, getting a smile out the actor, according to the Times Weekly.

"It ended up being great because it was a good adventure," Morrow said.
