A woman who was arrested outside Tom Cruise's home on Thursday for violating a restraining order is the same person who has been accused of stalking actor John Cusack.
Emily Leatherman, 32, was apprehended by officers in front of Cruise's Beverly Hills residence at 3:36 p.m., Sgt. Mike Foxen tells PEOPLE.
"Leatherman just showed up, and Tom Cruise's security called the police," Sgt. Foxen says. "Cruise had a standing restraining order against her.
"We determined that she is a transient without a residence," Sgt. Foxen added. "She was cooperative, and is currently in jail at the Beverly Hills station."
Last July, Cusack was granted a temporary restraining order
against Leatherman at a Santa Monica court.
Cusack's legal filing said that Leatherman "is showing unusual interest by stalking, throwing long letters of interest over my fence in bags with rocks and screwdrivers inside, making unannounced visits to offices of people I work with in an attempt to meet with me and listing my address as her own during a recent arrest."
She also "threatens to commit acts of violence against herself if I do not help her," according to papers filed by Cusack.
In regard to the Cruise case, Leatherman is scheduled to be arraigned Monday, and her bail was set at $45,000.
