Expect a Desperate Housewife to be well-prepared for a wedding? Well, Eva Longoria certainly is.
"The wedding arrangements are going very well, everything's great," the actress, 32, told PEOPLE on Monday at the Laureus World Sports Awards in Barcelona. "We have a lot of things planned."
Longoria, who is due to marry basketball player Tony Parker, 24, in Paris on July 7, presented an award at the event, dubbed the Oscars of sports.
She arrived at the gala solo in a red and pink gown by Carmen Marc Valvo. "Antonio is playing tonight," she said, referring to the French-born Parker, a point guard for the San Antonio Spurs.
Despite having to battle stormy weather in Barcelona and a cold, Longoria said she was having a great time in Spain.
"I've been really sick – I have a cold – but I actually went shopping today," she told reporters. "Rain doesn't bother me. I love rain. Barcelona is a very sexy city with rain."
Her Desperate Housewives co-star Kyle MacLachlan was also on hand to present an award. An avid golfer, he felt right at home among the athletes in attendance. "I played golf in London on the way here," he told PEOPLE. "The weather in Barcelona hasn't been so good for golf though."
