• Jessica Simpson and John Mayer, gazing at each other as they strolled down a city street in Adelaide, Australia. Simpson joined her beau Down Under on Saturday to hang out with him on his Continuum tour.

• Britney Spears, chatting with dad Jamie and her assistant over dinner at West Hollywood eatery Koi. The pop star, who's been sporting a slew of hats as she grows out her buzz cut, drank soda and smoked cigarettes at the table.

• Oscar winner Forest Whitaker, singing along to T.I.'s hits – including "Why You Wanna" – at the rapper's invite-only performance sponsored by Blender magazine at Atlanta concert venue The Tabernacle.

Joan's on Third

• Hilary Duff, dancing with sister Haylie and 7th Heaven star Beverley Mitchell at West Hollywood club Winston's following her record-release party at bar-lounge The Abbey. They grooved to the Van Halen classic "Hot for Teacher" as Lindsay Lohan, who also attended Duff's Abbey bash, whispered and hung out with Korn drummer David Silveria. Also making the scene: Jessica Alba and her pals.

• Renee Zellweger, dining on a baby field-greens salad with grilled chicken outside L.A. restaurant Joan's on Third. The actress, who lunched with a female friend, wore a black long-sleeved shirt, brown sweat pants and black flip-flops and kept her sunglasses on during her meal.
