• Reese Witherspoon, getting a caffeine boost after stopping by a Starbucks in Hollywood. Despite reports of her blossoming romance with Jake Gyllenhaal, the pair has been careful not to be spotted out and about together.

• Lindsay Lohan, partying at L.A.'s Hyde Lounge with deejay pal Samantha Ronson and an entourage. After arriving at midnight, the actress – wearing skinny jeans and an oversized red T-shirt – sat at a table next to Bruce Willis, though they never interacted. But she did have a heated discussion for several minutes with onetime squeeze Stavros Niarchos. Also making the scene: Mary-Kate Olsen (also once romantically linked to Niarchos – ah, young Hollywood!), who held court with a table of guy friends and danced to The Cure's "Boys Don't Cry."

• Hayden Panettiere, stopping by Beverly Hills boutique Harmony Lane, where she snagged several 24-karat gold Vita key necklaces along with three snakeskin bangles.

• Hilary Swank, working up a sweat in an hour-long Pilates class at the Equinox gym in Santa Monica. The actress used every machine in the small studio as she made the rounds side-by-side with her instructor.

Cipriani Downtown

• Snoop Dogg, bringing down the house at a benefit event for UNICEF/Sarah Ferguson Foundation at New York City's Cipriani Downtown. After performing "Buttons" with the Pussycat Dolls, the rapper launched into a set of his old-school hits, including "Gin and Juice." And his No. 1 fan in the crowd? Supermodel Naomi Campbell, who danced and sang along during his performance.
