Christie Brinkley's Ex Settles with Former Girlfriend

Christie Brinkley's estranged husband Peter Cook, 47, has reached a settlement with Diana Bianchi, a teenager he had an affair with soon after he hired her to work in his office.

Lawyers involved in the matter declined to disclose the details of the settlement. Rosemarie Arnold, Bianchi's attorney, would only say, "The matter has been resolved." Cook's attorney, Kathleen McKenna, did not return a call to her office.

Cook's affair with Bianchi, who is now 20, led to the breakup of his 10-year marriage to Brinkley, 53, last July. The former couple are still working out the details of their divorce and are due back in court next month.

Though Arnold declined to disclose any details of the settlement, her partner, high-powered lawyer Joe Tacopina, said last August, "What Cook did is prey on an 18-year-old girl. It's a textbook case of why an employer is not supposed to carry on a relationship with an employee."
