• Ashlee Simpson and rocker boyfriend Pete Wentz, laughing over French fries while hanging at Hollywood lounge Teddy's. The duo was joined by 10 friends at a back table – but an onlooker tells us the affectionate pair shared kisses and didn't look away from each other all night.

• Sacha Baron Cohen and fiancée Isla Fisher, indulging in a seafood dinner at Morels in Los Angeles. The funnyman sent back his red snapper, opting instead for the salmon. After dinner, the couple left the table holding hands.

• Scrubs star Donald Faison and girlfriend CaCee Cobb, partying together at Hyde lounge in West Hollywood. The pair sat side-by-side, holding hands and kissing as Laura Branigan's "Gloria" played.

• Whitney Houston and Ray J, whispering to each other during a dinner upstairs at Beverly Hills eatery Crustacean. The two were joined by four of Houston's girlfriends, and midway through dinner, a gracious Houston – sporting a fedora hat, oversized white shirt and jeans – stopped to autograph a menu for a mother and her daughter.

• Mario Lopez and former Dancing With the Stars partner Karina Smirnoff, looking cute and cuddly (according to an onlooker), and sharing a spicy tuna crunchy roll at West Hollywood Japanese restaurant Katana.
