Ashlee Simpson Takes New York, Jennifer Aniston and More | Ashlee Simpson
Ashlee Simpson, returning to her hotel after shopping at Barneys New York while in the Big Apple to help beau Pete Wentz open his new bar Angels & Kings. Before hitting the club that night, the two swung by Mexican restaurant Dos Caminos Park for dinner with a female pal. Pete and the friend noshed on chips and guacamole, along with a pollo salad, Caesar salad, shrimp empanada and a plantain empanada. Ashlee didn't eat, sticking to her drink instead. "She was very chatty and smiley," a source tells us.

Kanye West, checking out the scene at a release party for R&B singer Ne-Yo's sophomore album, Because of You, at New York's Mark Ecko Showroom. The rapper, in flashy sunglasses, sported a bomber jacket with "Louis Vuitton" scrawled across the back and hung close to his fiancée Alexis. Meanwhile, Ne-Yo arrived two hours into the party, posed for pictures with West and later took the stage, thanking everyone for "rocking with him." Offstage, Ne-Yo told us about collaborating with Jennifer Hudson and Whitney Houston. "Whitney still has it," he said. "People will be surprised. It's definitely not the same old Whitney."

Jennifer Aniston, picking up the tab for her friends after a meal at Los Angeles Italian eatery Zucca Ristorante. The actress dined on Pizza con Zucca Rosa (with roasted pumpkin, goat cheese, caramelized onion and speck ham) with three friends.

Pamela Anderson, drinking champagne at West Hollywood lounge Winston's with three males. Dressed in a conservative grey crewneck sweater with a belt around her waist offset by tiny shorts, Anderson chatted it up with her friends – though she rested her head on one guy's shoulder and sat on his lap for a while and acted affectionate, according to an observer.

Jamie Foxx, continuing his night after a sold-out concert at Nokia Live at Grand Prairie with a party at Ghostbar in downtown Dallas. The singer-actor entertained a packed house of hip and trendy partygoers by spinning hits in the deejay booth for most of the night and performing his own version of Kanye West's "Gold Digger." (Yes, he's done it before, but according to an onlooker, the crowd loved it.)
