Lindsay and a Male Friend Take New York City | Lindsay Lohan
Lindsay Lohan, arriving back at her New York hotel after glamming it up at the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute gala and various afterparties. While out, the actress kept close company with pal Calum Best. The actress reportedly hit up several parties, dropping by downtown New York nightspot the Box (a regular Lohan stop in the Big Apple).

• Also making the post-Costume Institute scene at the Box: Jennifer Connelly, smooching her husband, Paul Bettany, on the highly trafficked dance floor. Also downstairs, Naomi Campbell schmoozed with Uma Thurman's ex Andre Balazs, looking like old friends, an onlooker reports. Upstairs, Rose McGowan recalled to us her fondest moment from this year's Oscars – waltzing with Peter O'Toole, naturally. A pregnant Salma Hayek even made post-party, telling us as she left the ball earlier that night: "I feel good."

Jon Stewart, enjoying some serious family time at a New York street fair. An onlooker tells us that the Daily Show host held his 1-year-old daughter's hand and even snagged her a balloon.

Cheryl Burke, holding hands with her boyfriend Matthew Lawrence at Hollywood hotspot Parc. According to an onlooker, the pair swapped kisses and chatted up friends – including fellow Dancing with the Stars castmate Joey Fatone. The group also dined on mini Kobe cheeseburgers.

Wilmer Valderrama, throwing back shots of Patrón Silver with pals at Hollywood hotspot L'Scorpion. The guys were laughing as they watched four female lounge-goers belt out a karaoke-style version of Ne-Yo's "Because of You."
