A casual Kelly Clarkson, dining with nine friends at Josie's East in New York. Sporting a black hoodie and jeans, the American Idol champ chomped on turkey meatloaf. And next on her plate: new album My December, out July 24.
Lily Allen, celebrating her clothing line, Lily Loves, for New Look with a carnival-themed party at the chain's flagship store on London's Oxford Street. The spirited singer swilled mojitos and watched as fashionistas grabbed her dresses off the rack. As a bonus, she performed four songs – including "Smile" and "LDN" – for a crowd that included her father and younger brother. And in the spirit of healthy competition, she yelled, "It's better than that Topshop stuff!"
That "Topshop stuff" comment, of course, was aimed at Kate Moss, who launched her line in the States at Barneys New York the same day, followed by a rooftop celebration at the Gramercy Park Hotel. At the bash, the model reunited with pal Naomi Campbell, giving her a hug. The two spent a long time chatting, an onlooker tells us, and Moss perched on the arm of Campbell's chair. Also making the scene: "Rehab" singer Amy Winehouse, sipping Sagatiba cachaca pomegranate mojitos. Mary-Kate Olsen, sat in the corner with beau Max Snow, while Kate Bosworth hung close to her sweetheart, James Rousseau.
