Owen Wilson's new movie is a family affair, and it looks like girlfriend Kate Hudson is practically family: The actress joined her beau twice this week to support his comedy The Wendell Baker Story.
After the Dallas premiere of the film, which stars Owen and Luke Wilson and was directed by Luke and their brother Andrew, Hudson joined the guys at Ghostbar to celebrate with crew, friends, and family.
"[Owen and Kate] looked very happy and together," a source tells PEOPLE of Wilson, 38, and Hudson, 28, who spent the earlier part of the day shopping together at Dallas's Northpark Mall.
On Thursday, Hudson again joined the Wilson brothers for an after-party – this time at West Hollywood's Stone Rose Lounge following the film's Los Angeles premiere.
The couple, who first quietly stepped out in public last fall, didn't try to hide their affection, holding hands, stroking each other's backs and even rocking out – Hudson, sipping champagne, playfully bopped against Wilson while dancing and singing along to classic rock tunes. At one point, Wilson affectionately hooked his finger through her belt loop.
And his family approves: "She's a great person – I like her a lot," Andrew Wilson, 42, told PEOPLE earlier that evening at the premiere. "She's the world's most beautiful tomboy. We have these soccer games, and she's one of the best players out there, male or female. She's got a great sense of humor, really beautiful and fun to be around."
Added brother Luke, 35, "They seem real good – very happy!"
