The charges stem from his arrest after a drunken melee at a Seattle hotel on April 8.
Prosecutors are seeking a penalty of 10 days in jail, a $4,500 fine and chemical dependency treatment, says Seattle City Attorney spokeswoman Ruth Bowman.
If convicted, Wahler, 20, also could be found in violation of probation – leading to more jail time – because of an assault case in Los Angeles in September 2006.
A family member confirmed to PEOPLE on Thursday that Wahler is currently in rehab, which a judge accepted in lieu of his 60-day jail sentence in the LA case.
Wahler's rep declined to comment on the new charges in Seattle.
Wahler also faces two charges in Greenville, N.C., for underage drinking and resisting a public officer stemming from a March arrest. His next court date in that case is May 23.
Earlier this year, he was also found guilty of resisting arrest and bribery stemming from an arrest in New York last September.
