Rapper Eve pleaded not guilty Tuesday to two drunken driving-related charges filed after she allegedly crashed her Maserati into a cement divider in Hollywood.
Eve, 28, whose full name is Eve Jeffers, had been formally charged
with driving under the influence and driving with a .08 blood alcohol level or higher, stemming from her arrest April 26.
If found guilty, she faces a maximum penalty of a $1,000 fine and six months in jail.
Eve did not appear in the Los Angeles court Tuesday. Her attorney entered the plea on her behalf.
The next court hearing is set for June 28.
Her rep was not immediately available for comment.
