Colombian singing star Juanes and his wife, Karen Martinez, are separating, a source close to the couple confirms to Peopleenespañol.com exclusively.
The musician (full name: Juan Esteban Aristizabal), 34, and his wife, 27, have been married for three years.
They decided to part after months of trying to resolve their differences, the magazine reports. They will remain friends and are committed to their two daughters together, Paloma, 4, and Luna, 3.
For now, the girls will remain with their mother, who is pursuing an acting career in the U.S. Juanes is recording his forthcoming album in America.
The family recently spent a vacation at Disney World, Peopleenespañol.com reports.
