Couples Watch: Jennifer & Marc, Nick & Selita...

• Jennifer Lopez, rubbing her singer hubby Marc Anthony's back before the Children's Health Fund gala in New York. While introducing Anthony from the stage later, Lopez spoke about her desire to help after the Hurricane Katrina, while Anthony then performed "You Sang to Me."

• Adam Sandler, carrying his daughter Sadie, 1, and kissing her head while wife Jackie followed behind with a bag and stroller. The couple was at Quincy Jones's Bel Air home for the launch of his daughter Kidada's Disney Couture collection. The funnyman was polite, according to an onlooker, as he thanked everyone for having him. And, in an "awwwww" moment near the bar, Sandler leaned over and planted a big kiss on Jackie as she held their daughter.

• The Hills star Heidi Montag, partying at Hollywood nightclub Les Deux with her new fiancé Spencer Pratt. Joined by another pal, the couple looked very much in love, says an observer, as they kissed and cuddled the night away.

• Power couple Rachel Roy and Damon Dash, checking out the photographs in a silent auction at an event hosted by Oscar de La Renta and Vogue at the Gramercy Park Hotel's rooftop. The couple spent the evening perusing the art and chatting with friends. Also in attendance: Petra Nemcova, who had just flown in from Nice, a source tells us, and singer Lily Allen.

• Nick Cannon, getting denied from his own party at Hollywood's Social nightclub. The recently engaged actor showed up with fiancée Selita Ebanks to host MTV's Wild N Out season 4 premiere party, but was shut out after cops closed the party down for being overcrowded. Undeterred, the two left in search of another event.
