Caught in the Act!

• Orlando Bloom, acting like quite the man about town – shopping and dining out – in London's Soho district. (The actor, who recently announced he'll take a break from movies, will have plenty of time to take on the city when he hits the boards in the David Storey play In Celebration.)

• A newly single Owen Wilson, treating himself to a real bachelor's weekend in New York. The actor hit Marquee, and the next night, he kept things focused on male bonding – heading to the Gramercy Park Hotel's Rose Bar with pal Zach Braff.

• Meanwhile in Austin, Texas, his brother, Luke Wilson, dined at celeb hot spot Guero's Taco Bar with a female friend. "He's in here all the time whenever he's in town," a restaurant source tells us. "He always has a cup of charro beans first. Always. That's a given." Wilson the washed it all down with a Tecate at lunch. Meanwhile, the following night, the actor returned to Los Angeles, and accompanied by on-again, off-again girlfriend Andrea Wilson to Los Angeles hotspot Ritual during the afterparty for his film You Kill Me.

• Rachel Bilson, at the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation Celebrity Carnival in Los Angeles, helping children at the Disney Princess castle make wands decorated with beads and ribbons. Also feeling artistic: Carmen Electra decorated shirts – and even fielded a kiss on the cheek from her rocker ex Dave Navarro. The pair hugged and joked, and Electra instructed funnyman Chris Kattan to pull on Navarro's beard. (She says that's how they say "hello!") Meanwhile, The Hills' Heidi Montag (there with her fiancé Spencer Pratt had plenty of affection for Lance Bass, nabbing a hug from the singer, who was on hand to judge a dance contest.

• It was a big night for celeb chef Mario Batali's Los Angeles restaurant, Pizzeria Mozza. In the private wine cellar, Gwyneth Paltrow and hubby Chris Martinheld a private party for friends, including Drew Barrymore and Spike Jonze. According to an onlooker: "They were adorable together, holding hands and very into each other." Also seated at the long, communal table: Courtney Love, Robert Downey, Jr. and Kate Bosworth, all sharing some of the Neapolitan pizzas, salads and red and white wine. Meanwhile, in the main dining room Hilary Swank and her boyfriend John Campisismiled at each other all night – as they ate with Gerard Butler and Jeffrey Dean Morgan.
