Heath Ledger, in Chicago filming the next installment in the Batman series, The Dark Knight, hit Rockit Bar & Grill for dinner. Eating with his film crew, the soon-to-be Joker played pool upstairs – then continued his evening at new Windy City nightclub the Underground.

• A nice day in Venice, Calif. means plenty of celebs hanging out on Abbot Kinney Boulevard: Sacha Baron Cohen sitting outside of Stroh's Deli with his pregnant girlfriend Isla Fisher and another couple. The group enjoyed coffee and other beverages – while Fisher occasionally caressed Cohen's arm. Meanwhile, Elisabeth Shue strolled up the street along with director husband Davis Guggenheim and their three children.

Bruce Willis arriving in Paris (from Tokyo) during publicity rounds for Live Free or Die Hard. The actor was spotted stepping out to a cafe for a pastis before meeting up with daughter Scout for a shopping trip at Lanvin and Collette. The duo followed it up with a quiet father-daughter talk while strolling in Paris' Parc Monceau.

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz

Pete Wentz, coordinating with his girlfriend Ashlee Simpson, in matching Chuck Taylors and black hoodies, during a night at Miami's Cameo nightclub. In the club, Wentz deejayed for about 45 minutes as Simpson sat in the banquette, drinking and dancing in her seat. Wentz had a friendly encounter with fans who jumped up and down, waving from the dance floor as the rocker reached out and grabbed some of their hands. Later, Wentz rocked out to Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'" and Gwen Stefani's "The Sweet Escape" – and he sang along with Jermaine Stewart's 1986 hit, "We Don't Have to Take Our Clothes Off." Finishing his set by 3:15 a.m., Wentz slid into the banquette next to Simpson and the two shared some kissing and snuggling.
