Caught in the Act!

• Kate Moss, bringing a present to former Beatle Paul McCartney who celebrated his 65th birthday with a star-studded bash at his London home. Natalie Portman and musical pal Elton John (with husband David Furnish) were also on hand to celebrate. Does this mean they get to stop singing the McCartney classic "When I'm Sixty-Four"?

• Renee Zellweger, dining al fresco at New York's Dos Caminos Soho with three pals. The actress sipped margaritas and looked "radiant," a source tells us. And she was gracious to the staff, who returned the favor by bringing out fondue and a Mexican banana split for dessert.

• Lauren Conrad, giggling with a blonde girlfriend at West Hollywood hotspot Privilege. Sitting in her reserved booth, Conrad was soon joined by six more friends – her entourage laughing and whispering away. On the table: carafes of cranberry juice, orange juice, and a bottle of vodka.

• Christie Brinkley, accompanying her daughter Sailor Lee Brinkley-Cook, 8, to the Kiwanis Club-sponsored Carnival on Country Road in Southampton, New York. Wearing summery white pants, Brinkley headed to the grassy fields and supervised as Sailor and her friend took the bumper cars for a test drive.

• Jimmy Fallon, supporting his producer friend Mark Ronson and the CD compilation he created for Hard Rock Hotels and Casinos during a launch party at the Hard Rock Café in Times Square. Sporting a dark navy T-shirt, the funnyman told us at the bash that Ronson is "the most talented human being alive." He also dished to us about a possible new gig – taking over hosting duties when Conan O'Brien leaves his show in a few years. Jokes Fallon about his preparations: "I've been interviewing the plumber when he comes over."

• After celebrating intuitionist Laura Day's self-empowerment books at the Hollywood restaurant-lounge One Sunset, Jennifer Aniston, Demi Moore, hubby Ashton Kutcher and Bradley Cooper moved the party to the nearby Tower Bar at the Sunset Tower Hotel. There, the ladies ate the chicken Paillard and salad while Kutcher had steak tartar. A source tells us: "They were playful and lively, [and] at one point, Demi kissed the hand of the maître-de."
