Couples Watch: Rose & Robert, Courteney & David ...

• New couple Rose McGowan and director Robert Rodriguez, milling about at the Beverly Hilton during the Hollywood Reporter Key Art Awards. Inside, McGowan told us, "I'd be lucky" to work again with Rodriguez, who directed her in Planet Terror. And while she wouldn't 'fess up to finding love at first sight, McGowan did tell us, "He's my best friend," adding, "We instantly became really good friends."

•Courteney Cox Arquette in a casual shirt and jeans, joining husband David Arquette at a lounge table at One Sunset, a new eatery in West Hollywood, after hosting the OmniPeace charity event at Kitson Men. The pair seemed very involved in their conversation, an observer tells us, and coincidentally, fellow Friend Lisa Kudrow and her husband Michael Stern were dining just moments before at the same restaurant. But someone must've tipped them off: Kudrow and Stern returned 10 minutes later to share a hug and a chat.

• Star Jones Reynolds, celebrating husband Al Reynolds's birthday with a large group at The Estate, a private house in Southampton, N.Y. How many friends exactly? "Twenty-five of our closest friends," Reynolds tells us. Later in the night, the birthday guy headed into Stereo by the Shore and then, with his buddies, moved on to club Dune by 3 a.m. (Jones Reynolds told us they would be opening presents later!)

• Kate Bosworth, trading kisses with her beau James Rousseau in front of dinner guests while hanging at the Chateau Marmont. The pair arrived hand-in-hand and joined a party of four on the patio. In her white chiffon dress and tan trenchcoat, Bosworth looked Grace Kelly-esque, an onlooker tells us. She and Rousseau sat next to each other – and he kept his hand on the back of her chair almost all night.
