The 49-year-old crooner and Tracey, 40, had been married for 13 years. They will have joint custody of their two sons, Brandon, 10, and Dylan, 6, according to a Superior Court final judgment filed Friday and released on Monday.
The other terms of the divorce settlement were sealed by the court.
The pair announced in October 2005 that they were ending their marriage. Three months later, Tracey filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences.
The couple have produced movies and television shows together, including Soul Food. They said they planned to continue working together on business ventures.
In December 2006, Tracey Edmonds revealed to PEOPLE that she was dating Eddie Murphy.
