Hayden Panettiere

Hayden Panettiere, meeting up with some female friends at L.A. shopping center Sunset Plaza, before heading out for dinner at West Hollywood eatery Koi. The Heroes star cheerleader is currently shooting the second season of her hit NBC show.

Kate Hudson, scoping out the Countrywide Classic tennis match at UCLA between Russia's Marat Safin and Australia's Chris Guccione. (Wonder which side she cheered for?) Comedian Jon Lovitz (who claimed to The New York Post that he beat up Andy Dick) was also in the stands.

• The cast of Weeds – including Mary Louise Parker, Matthew Modine and eight other castmembers – celebrating the end of the show's third season with a wrap party at Arnie Morton's the Steakhouse in Beverly Hills. A source tells us the leading lady received gifts and the cast enjoyed a cake.

• At New York hotspot Butter, the party started early upstairs as Lance Bass mingled with friends and guests by the bar. And before midnight, Michelle Rodriguez walked in with her all-female posse, schmoozing upstairs with her friends. A bouncer escorted her downstairs where she got busy, dancing at her personal banquette to songs like Fat Joe's "Make It Rain." Also downstairs: Bass and Jamie Lynn Sigler, who kept each other company – with Bass gently caressing Sigler's arm as they gabbed.
