• Super mom Reese Witherspoon, treating her children – Ava, 7, and Deacon, 3 – to frozen yogurt at a Santa Monica-area TCBY. The über-casual actress, sporting grey capri pants, a light grey sweater, baseball cap and black string bikini underneath, ordered and then took over the largest table in the corner of the small yogurt shop. The children seemed pleased, playfully laughing and giggling with each other. Meanwhile, Witherspoon was no less playful: At one point she got up and did a little dance with another child before Ava joined in.
• Kate Hudson, joining pal Billy Crudup for dinner at West Hollywood haunt Il Sole. The actress enjoyed the Scottish Salmon, before heading out with her crew to Teddy's, according to a source.
• Mary-Kate Olsen, rocking and rolling at West Hollywood venue the Troubadour. The actress stepped out to see Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros along with fellow music fans Heath Ledger and the Red Hot Chili Peppers' Flea and Anthony Kiedis. Perhaps he always dreamed of being a roadie – how else to explain Ledger helping the band load its equipment? He even "made sure people were getting in okay," a fellow concertgoer tells us. The Chili Peppers, meanwhile, weren't on the VIP list – but they bought their own tickets to the show.
