The Oscar winner's beau and CAA agent John Campisi whisked her away to the St. Regis Resort, Monarch Beach in Dana Point, Calif., sources tell PEOPLE. Saturday morning began with surf lessons out on the beach by the resort's surf butler. According to a guest at the resort, "Hilary was catching some waves and she was standing up! She had on a pink wetsuit and smiled the whole morning."
The day continued with afternoon Swedish massages at Spa Gaucin for the couple. According to a source, the resort then chartered a sunset cruise on a sailboat out of Dana Point for the couple and a group of friends. They followed up with dinner and birthday cake that night at the resort's Stonehill Tavern – then a champagne Sunday brunch at the hotel the next morning.
Swank and Campisi have kept their romance fairly low profile since they began dating last year. Though they've been spotted out together, Swank told InStyle earlier this year: "I'm in a relationship with a great guy who's not a public person, and I want to respect that."
