• Former 'N Syncer JC Chasez, celebrating his 31st birthday at newly opened Hollywood hot spot Crimson. With his best friend and manager Eric Podwall by his side – along with 40 others – the group partied the night away and enjoyed bottle service. Says a party guest: "JC was in a great mood." Fellow revelers included Adam Brody and Josh Henderson. Another celebrity guest who made it out – but not intentionally for Chazez's party – was Vince Vaughn. After hanging with friends, the actor meandered over to Chasez's section to check out all the commotion before retreating back to his area.
• Nestled in a corner table of the Tower Bar at Hollywood's Sunset Tower Hotel, Jennifer Aniston, deep in conversation with a male friend. The actress twirled a lock of her blonde hair around her finger while she listened intently to what her companion had to say. An onlooker tells us: "Jennifer looked amazing – relaxed with a glowing summer tan."
• After a public smooch, Hilary Duff and (rumored beau) Mike Comrie partied at West Hollywood's Hyde Lounge. Despite being there with friends, all of Hilary's attention was on her hockey-player friend: She had her arm wrapped around his, and the two acted affectionate and cuddled in their reserved booth. They even showed some PDA, kissing on the cheeks and lips in front of their friends. Also there: a carefree Paris Hilton, sipping drinks with her female friends.
