"I think we're kind of lucky actually because in this business people can end up spending so much time apart," Lopez told Ryan Seacrest Friday on his KIIS-FM radio show.
The couple, both 38, star together in the current film, El Cantante, and have announced plans to co-headline a world tour beginning September 29 in New Jersey.
"There's something about us working together that kind of works," says Lopez. "We never really force anything – it's just a natural thing, projects that we end up working together on."
Even though the couple spend long hours together, Lopez tells Seacrest: "Its easy. There is nothing hard about it."
Touring, on the other hand, is going to be a new step for Lopez. "It's actually my first time," she says. "I am a little bit scared of the schedule to be honest. I have been on the road with Marc a couple of times so I have a good tutorial on how to handle it though."
