• John Travolta, breaching movie theater etiquette when his cell phone rang during the middle of the star-studded New York screening of Death Sentence. Despite the (accidental) disturbance, the Hairspray star was actually on hand in a supporting role: His wife Kelly Preston – also in the audience – stars in the flick.
• Bruce Willis, picking out sweet delicacies with daughter Tallulah, 13, at posh Los Angeles chocolate shop and boutique Boule, an onlooker tells us. The father-daughter pair ordered iced coffee, and the younger Willis also had Raspberry Rose sorbet. The duo also picked out three apple tart tartins and three cheesecakes to go.

• Sheryl Crow, chatting over dinner at West Hollywood hot spot Il Sole with pal Jessica Capshaw. The singer opted for the tagliolini with summer truffles, and then made a quiet exit through the back door after her pasta supper. Meanwhile, across the way, Brooke Shields's hubby Chris Henchy split a bottle of cabernet sauvignon with his dining companion, funnyman Paul Rudd.
