Add another well-wisher to those offering support to Owen Wilson as he recovers from a suicide attempt: his Wedding Crashers costar, Jane Seymour.

"I don't know what happened, but I know he's a great guy and this too shall pass," Seymour, 56, tells Entertainment Tonight.

Seymour, who has joined the upcoming season five of Dancing with the Stars, says, "He has a great family and people who love him. He'll be okay."

Over the weekend, Wilson, 38, was admitted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles after police responded to a call at his home for an attempted suicide.

Seymour, who in Wedding Crashers tried to seduce Wilson's character, says she has nothing but good feelings toward her costar. "Owen Wilson is one of the most wonderful, amazing human beings," she says. "He's amazingly talented – he's one of the best comedians of his generation."

As he begins his recovery, PEOPLE reports in its cover story that Wilson is being supported by his family and a tight-knit circle of friends.
