Katie Holmes arriving in Paris from Berlin for a day of shopping, followed by lunch at the fashionable Hotel Costes and some visits to local art and antique dealers. Suri's mom, dressed casually
in a white blouse and grey slacks, headed to Paris's St. Germain/Quai de Seine district, stopping in to several of the city's most exclusive antique furniture specialists. According to an observer, the actress took a break from the antiquing for another Parisian decadence – a visit to the Rue St. Peres shop of French chocolatier Debauve & Gallais.
The VMAs are over – but the stars are
stillpartying in Las Vegas. One night after his
brawl with Kid Rock,
Tommy Lee was spotted at Cirque Du Soleil's LOVE with three women, drinking Grey Goose vodka. Following the show, Lee later continued the party at Jet Nightclub.
Elsewhere in Vegas,
Ashlee Simpson kept the party
going on the outside deck at the Palms' ghostbar, as the singer and her female friends drank Johnnie Walker Blue and chowed on some French fries.
Mena Suvari, Justin Long and
Scott Speedman, dancing the night away at the Motorola Late Night Lounge at the Toronto
International Film Festival. Inside, the bunch indulged in comfort food like
mini-cheeseburgers and cupcakes. More entertaining than the food: practicing pratfalls, apparently. Speedman and Long (who was recently spotted
making out with
Drew Barrymore), were content to (playfully) roughhouse, slapping each other across the face. Says an onlooker: "They were hilarious."
