The Desperate Housewives star, looking casual with her hair down, seemed to be enjoying the mommy-and-me shopping time with her daughter, who was "hanging and playing on the cart," an observer tells us.
• Singer Robin Thicke, ordering up the Seven-Layer Lasagna while dining at West Hollywood eatery Il Sole. The singer – who presented at the Video Music Awards Sunday – also sipped a Bellini with his meal. And across the way, Heroes star Zachary Quinto caught up with friends while enjoying a filet mignon for dinner.
• Private Practice hunk Taye Diggs, being escorted into hot nightspot Les Deux in West Hollywood. The actor, dressed in a white hat, glasses and sweater, got whisked in the club by the owner and made his way immediately to the bar. Inside, Diggs laughed and chatted with the club's owner and his three guy friends before making his way to a corner table packed with people. Also there: Cisco Adler, cruising around the club and hanging out with pals. Later, the rocker took a middle table next to Diggs.
