Jonathan William Moseley, Jr. – "Jack" – was born Tuesday in San Francisco at 4:27 p.m. He weighed 9 lbs., 2 oz., and was 21" long.

"Malia and Jack are healthy and doing great," says their rep.

In April, the mom- and dad-to-be told PEOPLE they were both "looking forward to parenthood and all that comes with it."

The couple met in high school and dated for two years before becoming engaged in 2003. They wed in Telluride, Colo., on March 25, 2006.
